Since we opened MEKK Barbershop in Manchester a few years ago, we’ve received nothing but support from the local Manchester community. We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for our dedicated customers who walk through our doors every day. As a barbershop based in Ancoats, Manchester, we’re proud to be part of such a strong local community. We wanted to give something back to the people who have supported us, which is why we’ve created the MEKK Circle Rewards Card.
What is the MEKK Circle Rewards Card?
The MEKK Circle Rewards Card is something we’ve introduced to give back to our regular clients and the wider community around our Manchester barbershop. If you’re supporting MEKK and sharing your experience, we want to reward that by giving you access to our rewards scheme.
It’s not something we’re going to hand out to everyone straight away, as the idea is to keep it a bit more personal and considered. If you’re interested, please mention it during your appointment and we’ll gladly share the details with you.
How It Works - Ways to Get a Free Haircut
We want to reward those who are supporting us and spreading the word about MEKK Barbershop in Manchester. When you get given your MEKK Circle Rewards Card, there are two ways to earn a free haircut at our barbershop. You can either post one reel featuring your haircut, or share four separate stories. Each option earns you one free haircut.
It’s important to note that reels and stories cannot be combined, so it’s one or the other. The idea is simply to share your experience at MEKK in a way that feels natural, whether that’s showing the finished result or part of the process - it’s up to you how you’d like to share your experience.
Rules for Redeeming Rewards & Posting Requirements
To keep everything fair and consistent for everyone involved, there are a few simple rules around redeeming rewards. Free haircuts need to be used within 30 days, and they cannot be stacked over time. This ensures everyone gets the same opportunity to benefit.
Rewards apply to standard haircut services only, so they’re designed to fit naturally into your usual visits to our Manchester barbershop.
Each MEKK Circle Rewards Card is assigned to one individual and isn’t transferable. It’s linked to your name, so everything is kept simple and fair on our side. We like to keep things relaxed, but we will know if it’s being passed around.
For content to count towards a reward, it needs to follow a few basic guidelines. You’ll need to tag MEKK Barbershop, tag your barber, and include the Manchester location. Posts should go up within 24 hours of your appointment, clearly show the haircut or process, and stay live for at least 48 hours.
On the flip side, content will not count if the shop is not tagged, if it is low quality, shared only to private or close friends stories, removed too early, or reused from previous visits. All submissions are reviewed, and final approval always sits with us.
At MEKK, quality comes first, and we want anything attached to the brand to reflect that, which we’re sure you guys will understand.
